HOW I CAN HELP

I utilise holistic and eclectic modalities, which means I am flexible with my approach and tailor sessions based on the best outcomes for you and the issues you present. This style is most effective for finding practical solutions to the unique issues that people face day-to-day. When necessary, I also incorporate tried and tested psychotherapy techniques, also known as “talking therapy“. The basic premise of psychotherapy, which is adopted by Psychologists, Psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, is that when we vocalise our issues, we experience a level of relief as a result. On top of this, sessions will be facilitated in a professional and methodological manner, and where appropriate, incorporating a variety of effective evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

It’s important to keep in mind that my objective is to alleviate pain and assist with finding real-life solutions - this will focus on what YOU can do - by exploring the psychological triad associated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT):

the way you think > affects how you feel > and impacts how you behave

Sessions will flow naturally, with you in the driving seat - you get to decide what is most important for you. However, at times I will utilise techniques that will challenge you and your thinking - with the aim to reframe narratives that are no longer serving you, or potentially causing you discomfort. I strongly adopt positive psychology methods, which build upon your strengths, aiming to reframe your thinking to adopt a growth mindset.

My mission is to help, but my promise is to turn you into your own mindset guru.
